I was shocked, confused and relaxed all at the same time. I knew he had found a new confidante. Since then our son has grown so much. I see a lot of good change in him.
The other day when I told him, “tomorrow is a holiday because our prime minister, Mr. Vajpayee has passed away”. He retorted with a loud objection,”Thats NOT our prime minister.” Intrigued I asked him,”Who is it then?” To which, he confidently replied,”Narendra Modi.” As parents we had to try and seem calm.
After home schooling him until he was four and a half, we were worried whether formal schooling would slow down his all round growth that he had, had in an estate environment. I must admit that after three months at ELC, we are confident and comfortable that he is in good hands. When I return to pick him up and see the teachers full of smiles even at the end of every day, It leaves me convinced that there is more than knowledge imparted here!
